The coach said, "Bring It On, Give Heart, Commitment and Fight" and that's what the U14 Girls did when facing up against the Falcons 2000 at Morwell in the Preliminary Final on Wednesday Night, under lights in the Stadium. It was a hard fought battle. The Falcons, top of the ladder were up beat and their drive intensified after they scored their first goal within the first 10 minutes, the only goal for the half. Chloe Boulton was on fire as goalie, however once she was floored after a sideways knock she finished the half and was then replaced by Paige Tarling.
Olivia Flynn, Lola Roberts and Ruby Kearsley tried their best to keep the opposition at bay however the Falcons were literally one step in front throughout. Their momentum lifted with another goal within minutes of the second half commencing. Once again Paige Tarling did a fantastic job reading the play, however the girls didn't appear on song in the evening clash. C
