Another dominant display by the Blues.
After an unfortunate combination of a bye, a forfeit and school holidays, the U14 Blues took the field on Saturday after a 4 week delay. They hosted the lower age Traralgon City side and after a rusty start they came away with a comfortable 16 goal win.
The Blues went into this game without key striker Noah Alexander and reliable defender Alex Poynton but were able to welcome back Seb Dizias after a long term injury.
From the start the Blues were in command. Seb was prominent early and looked like he was determined to enjoy his comeback. The Desio cousins, Matt and Damian began to pepper the goals but could not find the net. Numerous chances went begging.
The breakthrough came at the 14 minute mark from the classy boot of Jordan Hathaway. At 25 minutes Will Hall finally broke his seasonal duck with a nice strike.
