LVSL 2017 U14 GIRLS. ROUND 13.
Traralgon City 0 EGUFC 7
After a 3 week break, the Eagles had 12 excited girls and 1 nervous fill in coach ready to tackle Traralgon City at Traralgon.
With a couple of players missing, some of the girls got the opportunity to play in a different positions. Jess Markum was one player who really thrived with the chance to run on the wing and played a great game.
The Eagles defence was rock solid all game, repelling just about every Traralgon attack and leaving very little for goalie, Caitlin O'Byrne to do, resulting in a 7-0 win to the Eagles.
Chloe Boulton played a great game across the midfield, linking the defence with attack creating numerous chances for her team up front.
In only her second game, Ruby Kearsley, demonstrated she's going to be a great player for the team with some solid work on both a wing and in defence.
Over all it was a great team effort from the young Eagles to come away with a well deserved win, played in good spirit
